General

Who we are, where we supply, and who you deal with.
4 questions
Where are you based, and where do you supply?

Our works are in Chandigarh. We supply machines, panels and parts to customers all over India.

What kinds of companies do you work with?

Our six core industries are ceiling fans and home appliances, switchgear and electricals, fasteners and cold forming, precision engineering and watch components, automotive components, and contract manufacturers and OEMs. We also serve defence, solar, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, FMCG, electronics manufacturing (EMS), real estate and agriculture.

We are always open to new industries. We solve automation problems whatever the industry, so if you think automation can solve a problem in your plant, talk to us.

Do you only build custom machines, or do you also have standard machines?

Both. We have standard machines, such as our ceiling fan blade riveting machines, which we adapt to your part. We also design and build fully custom machines around your part and process.

Who will I deal with on a project?

The people who lead the company and the engineers on your project. Akashdeep Jain (managing partner) and Ankur Jain (design and technical head) stay involved with the project engineers from the first discussion to commissioning.

Special purpose machines and automation

What do you need from us to quote for a machine?

Send us:

  • Drawings of the parts
  • The cycle time or output you need
  • The floor space available, and how parts come in and go out
  • The degree of automation you want
  • Any expectations, or a concept you already have in mind
Will you visit our plant before quoting?

Yes, when the process needs it. Tell us about the operation and we will say whether a visit is needed.

How long does a machine take from order to delivery?

It depends on the machine. A simple project can take about 4 weeks; a complex turnkey line can take 36 to 40 weeks.

Will you sign an NDA before we share drawings or samples?

Yes. We sign an NDA before you share drawings or samples, and we keep everything you share confidential.

Can we see the machine running with our parts before it is dispatched?

Yes. We run the machine with your parts at our works in Chandigarh before dispatch, and you can see the trial there.

Do you install the machine at our plant and train our people?

Yes. We install and commission the machine at your plant, train your operators, and train your maintenance staff.

What warranty do you give?

The warranty period and what it covers are stated in each quotation.

Do you offer AMCs, spares and service after the warranty?

Yes. We offer annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), spare parts and service after the warranty ends.

Can you automate one station of a manual line, rather than the whole line?

Yes. We can automate a single station and leave the rest of the line as it is. More stations can be added later.

Can you retrofit or upgrade a machine we already have?

Yes: for example CNC controller retrofits, relay logic converted to PLC, obsolete controls replaced, and feeding added to an existing station. The machine has to be sent to our works in Chandigarh for the upgrade. See Machinery retrofitting.

How do we know whether an automation project will pay back?

We give you the machine's output and running figures, so you can work out the payback against your current costs.

Electrical panels

Do you build panels on their own, or only as part of a machine?

Both. We build standalone panels to your specification, including PLC panels, motor control centres, power control centres, servo and drive panels, VFD panels and control desks, as well as the panels for our own machines. See Electrical panels.

Which standards do you build and test panels to?

We build and test every panel to your specification and the applicable standards.

Which PLC, HMI and drive brands do you work with?

We work mainly with Fuji Electric and Siemens. If you have a specific reason to use another make, we consider it case by case.

Precision manufacturing

Do you machine parts to drawing for other companies?

Yes. We machine parts to your drawing, from a single part to batches, with no minimum quantity. See Manufacturing.

Which materials and tolerances can you handle?

We machine hardened and tool steels, and grind shafts, pins, punches and bushes to close diameter tolerances. We check your drawing, material and tolerances first, and say plainly if a feature needs a process we do not have.

Do you supply an inspection report with machined parts?

We check and record critical dimensions on every order, and supply a written inspection report on request.

Products and spares

Do you keep standard parts in stock?

We keep common items in stock and order the rest. The delivery time is confirmed on the quotation.

Which brands do you supply? Can you find an equivalent for an obsolete part?

Brands and models are confirmed on the quotation. If a part is obsolete, we can find an equivalent. See Products.

Do you deliver across India?

Yes, we deliver across India.

Enquiries and orders

How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?

We reply within 2 working days. How long the quotation takes depends on the job.
